Menage Construction | Arenas | Gallops
Minimize

Our aim at Landtech Solutions Ltd is to build arenas to suit the specific needs of the customer, whether it an outdoor 20 x 40 arena, or an international sized competition arena.

We build for personal use, livery yards, professional competition yards, and even British Eventing and British Show jumping venues. Offering a personal touch, and second to none build quality, we can build you a tailor made arena, offering a choice of surfaces and designs to suit your exact personal requirements, and disciplines.

From design to completion, all stages of the build are carried out by ourselves, therefore building a close relationship with the client throughout the entire project.

Our arenas are built using advanced machine control systems, which allow us to accurately layer and level materials in the arena to precise depths to plus or minus 10mm. Using high quality materials and exceptional attention to details we produce a quality arena providing trouble free riding for many years to come.

Along with arenas, we can also create all weather four furlong gallops, 2km farm rides, and oval warm up, no equestrian setup you may require is to too big or small.

Please give us a call to discuss your exact requirements for menage construction. Menage construction | Horse Arena Construction | Building a menage | Gallops

Fencing
Minimize

We provide a range of fencing services for the equestrian, agricultural and domestic sectors.

With our dedicated fencing equipment allow us to erect high quality, durable stock fences quickly and efficiently, which allows us to be very competitive. Which is why we have build up a large customer base from livery yards, to large charity organisations such as RSPB.

We have made many relationships within the land-based industries for providing a high quality fencing service. Whether it be agricultural stock fencing, badger fencing through to specialist equine fences such as Duralock or centaur hot rail.

With over ten years in the fencing industry we can help provide design tips for paddock layout, gate location etc as well as advising the client on all the different fencing options that are available. Not many years ago there was not a lot of option for equestrian stock fencing, but now there are a wealth of different options to suit different requirements and budgets.

We specialise and pride ourselves in our equestrian post and rail fencing, using quality pressure treated timber to produce a sturdy, long term fence.

All posts are machine driven into the ground ensuring each one withstands the test of time, unlike the augering method which can make the post loose and therefore shortening the life expectancy of the fence. All timber is FSC certified and guaranteed to give the wow factor to any property.

Galvanised wire, stock proof fences. Options include standard high tensile sheep netting up to specialist horse netting which provide a very strong, sturdy barrier. The design of the netting prevents horses hooves getting stuck in the gaps between the line and stay wires, which can be a problem with non specific netting. We also like this fence, because it keeps dogs etc out and possibly sheep in as well. All high tensile stock fences are installed using large diameter strainers allowing us to mechanically pull the wire tight, and it will stay tight for years to come.

Composite rail system which combine high tensile galvanised steel line wires with a coated polymer shell provide the forefront of equestrian fence. It also has the facility to be energised to prevent the stock even making contact with this unbelievably strong and durable fence.

Duralock fencing systems provide the ideal accompaniment for your gallop, or exercise track, this UV resistance UPVC fencing system has been specifically developed for safety in mind, allowing the fence to absorb the force rather than transfer it through the horse. Please see our recently completed gallop in the case study for more information.

We also offer gates of any size, supplied and fitted by ourselves, from a standard field gate in timber or galvanised steel to a more decorative entrance gate to create the ideal finishing touch to personalise your property.

Planning
Minimize

Planning requirements can be quite detailed and we have found that most planning departments are approachable, so in the first instance give them a ring and ask their advice about your particular requirements.

All planning applications will normally require scale drawings of the proposal, together with scale drawings of the site in question – including any significant changes in level, a location plan of the area in question and also quite importantly written supporting information regarding the detail of the application, its effect on the surroundings and your neighbours and how it meets the requirements of the local planning policies. Some planning departments need more information than that mentioned above, usually if you ask them what they need, they’ll tell you. Once an application package has been prepared and you’ve made the application, then you’ll need to wait around 8 weeks for a decision to be given, so please remember to work that into your programme.

Whilst we are happy to give you advice on various things, we are not planning experts and we’d always recommend that as well as speaking to your local planning department, it’s well worth considering discussing things with an equestrian planning consultant or equestrian architect about any potential planning issues. The organisation who we reccomend are Equestrian Design; based in Warrington, Cheshire. They cover all of the country and have an excellent track record of successful applications. Visit their website to find our more information.
